Plot Summary:Harry Dean Stanton: Partly Fiction is a mesmerizing, impressionistic portrait of the iconic actor comprised of intimate moments, film clips from some of his 250 films and his own heart-breaking renditions of American folk songs. Stunningly lensed in color and b/w by Seamus McGarvey, the film explores the actor's enigmatic outlook on his life, his unexploited talents as a musician, and includes candid scenes with David Lynch, Wim Wenders, Sam Shepard, Kris Kristofferson and Debbie Harry. The fragile soul of an actor emerges from the poignant collage.

4.0 自上次看Lucky哭得不行，想到Harry Dean Stanton已經離世就更難過了。不管他在新的雙峰裡還是在Lucky裡，基本上都是他在用自己的生命體驗演他自己。也算是一個瀟灑風流過的傢伙啊。
風流迷人寡言的老爺爺，就讓他用歌來講人生。林奇這段聊得最好看。可惜拍攝時間很短的感覺，素材還是少。
